Overview
In Career Key Central, PathAdvisor’s three service levels give you an overall picture of your students’ academic and career well-being.
You can answer questions like, “Do students feel like they are in the right program? Are they ready to make a decision, such as choosing a major or career path?”

Organization: Insights
This tab gives you the big picture at a glance. We show the proportion of students in each service level category in percentages by assessment.
PathAdvisor: Dashboard
This tab takes you to a table of individual students that shows their last activity, combined service level, and whether or not they have completed both assessments (CDP and CKD).
To calculate the overall PathAdvisor Service Level, Career Key takes the highest level of the two assessments.
Note: PathAdvisor requires students to complete the CDP first. Click on each student for more details.
A “Just Right” Differentiated Service Level Model
Career Key uses three service levels adapted from a well-known model developed at Florida State University. (see CDP Manual).
- Self-help services
- Brief staff-assisted services
- Individual case-managed services
Career Key helps advisors assign these service levels by estimating a level for each client based on their assessment scores, and the kind of help provided for each level.
