Overview
Welcome! Career Key’s group portal, Career Key Central, has a two-level, parent/child hierarchy of accounts. The customer account is the “parent,” and a sponsored organization is the “child.”
A customer buys the Career Decision Profile (CDP) and Career Key Discovery (CKD) directly from Career Key. We can help you create multiple sponsored organizations, each with its own administrative users, plug ins and discoverers’ information.
Takeaways
Learn how CK divides account administration into two levels: customers and their sponsored organizations. Find out what you can do in each one.
Take Action
In customer Account Administration, you take customer-wide, financial actions related to subscriptions, billing, and sponsored organizations.
In My Organization, you set up your sponsored organization’s CDP and CKD plug in(s) and invite other colleagues and administrative users. Each customer account has one default sponsored organization with the customer’s name, automatically created at the time of purchase.
Multiple Organizations for One Customer
Customers may create and add more than one sponsored organization to give a group its own dashboard and administrative users (counselors and guides) separate from other groups. For example,
- A large organization may want to keep financial administration of Career Key Discovery separate from what counselors and advisors can see and do.
- A school district may have multiple schools or campuses.
- A university may have multiple campuses or departments, like Admissions and Career Services.
- A business may have multiple regions they serve.
- A college and career readiness company may offer assessments as part of a product to multiple schools or organizations.
